Frequency-Ireland Events...

A quick word to say thanks to those who came along to the Halloween Charity Fundraiser with The Things last weekend at Baker's Underground, which raised EUR 342.00 for the local branch of The Samaritans here in Limerick. Dave Barry, the much respected ex-teacher of the Limerick area, who handles all incoming fundraisers at the local branch of The Samaritans, was very grateful of both the funds and the awareness raised of all the great work they do in the area.


I'm currently putting together plans for a return to Daffy's International Bar to put on a singer-songwriter night in mid-December as a Christmas Charity Event, most likely in aid of the Mid West Simon Community for the homeless. Though no dates or plans have yet been set, the intention would be to have quite a casual affair of five or six artists, and a small door surcharge, with all proceeds going to the charity. For those who would like to participate and play a 30 or so minute set as part of this please feel free to get in touch.
